About Lazareth
Lazareth discovered rap music in eighth grade and immediately fell in love.
He began rapping whenever he could and soon realized he could write his own raps.
Fascinated with wordplay and punchlines, Lazareth first started writing battle raps but soon
transitioned into real songs. Drawing inspiration from his own life, Lazareth would write
any chance he got and would stay up late on many occasions. He had finally found his voice.
Time passed and Lazareth had only improved his abilities, studying rap techniques and learning to write better songs.
Filling notebooks upon notebooks, he took any chance he could to improve and learn more about the art of rap.
After significant improvement, Lazareth felt he was finally ready to officially release music.
In September of 2017 he released his first project the “I’ll Find You” EP. The EP covers the struggles of being bullied,
heartbreak, and depression but offers a glimmer of hope in the title track, a remix of Lecrae’s “I’ll Find You”.
The song is written as a letter from God to someone who is struggling or feeling lost. After that he released
“Transition”, a project covers many topics including money, relationships, suicide, and God’s love and beauty.
Lazareth strives to make an impact with his music and he took that to a higher level with his four track EP
entitled “I Am Not a Psychopath: End the Stigma”. Released for Mental Health Awareness Day on October 10th 2018,
the EP brings awareness to the stigmas surrounding depression and mental illness, as well as shows aspects
of what it is truly like to experience it.
